Every year the 19th of August Arquata celebrates the arrival of the Queesn's Court, an historical reenactment where the protagonist is the Queen Giovanna d'Angiò from Naples who lived in the castle of Arquata from 1420 to 1435.

The historical representation is composed by a big procession of medieval knights, ladies-in-waiting, pageboys, shepherds and archers coming from the castle into the main square of the village accompanied by the sound of trupted and drums. After their arrival medieval fights and street games with flag throwers are played before the final banquet.

The atmospheare of the event is able to bring us 1000 years back in time...
