Altitude: 818 m.l.m. Piedilama is a characteristic mountain village with houses made from local rocks, with portals dated 1600’s. Walking through the village it is possible to see ancient millstones (dated 1640) for the working of the wheat or chestnuts: today they are covered by flowers. On the Fluvione river it is possible to see an ancient water mill. Piedilama doesn’t have an ancient church because the old one was destroyed in the ‘50s and replaced by a new, modern one.
